History

A look back gives you an idea of the background of our company. The company was known as Edeco and later on as Baker Hughes, then is was founded through "management buy out" in 1997 by Dieter Asbrede and Josef Langeland under the name GPS Oil Tools.
At the beginning, we concentrated on the distribution and repair of deep well pumps as well as on the production of equipment for the gas gathering and crude oil industry.
Then, the machine outfit was established little by little, lead-managed by Ulrich Hartz. In addition to the conventional cutting procedures we invested more and more in high-quality CNC technics. This enabled us to meet the special requirements of the customers in the tool manufacture, food industry and aerospace industry with precision and flexibility.
In 2003, we moved into the new premises at Vechtaer Marsch.
The relocation was necessary in order to improve the material flow and allow a smooth communication. Since that time, we have invested a lot and could establish know-how. Today we see ourselves as a company which has not yet utilised all internal efficiencies.
